The Mane Mission Safe Chair Initiative empowers stylists and salons to create spaces where every client feels seen, safe, and supported. The Safe Chair Initiative is a domestic education and awareness program designed to support salons and beauty professionals by providing clear information, training, and referral resources without placing emotional responsibility on the stylist.

We recognize the unique position salons hold as trusted community spaces and equips professionals to share information appropriately, not intervene, diagnose, or counsel. Through awareness training and easy-to-use resources, we’re bridging the trust built behind the chair with the power to help those in need.

Our partner salons and stylists become more than educators, they become trusted allies. Through Mane Mission, we provide not just tools and technique, but a community where individuals are seen, supported and empowered. A salon chair becomes one of the few places someone feels heard and safe. We believe education and artistry bring freedom, dignity and a new beginning.

Each participating salon receives our Mane Mission Safe Chair Toolkit, complete with certification training, awareness signage, and discreet referral materials. Every stylist can become a part of the movement to make the beauty industry not only a place of transformation, but a place of safety and connection.
